Latifah, a bright and resilient 9-year-old girl, is currently in primary four. Her journey has been marked by both strength and hardship, a testament to her unwavering spirit. Born in Kashaka, a small village nestled in Sheema, Latifah's life took a tragic turn on 26th July, 2013, when her father lost his life in a tragic incident. Caught in the midst of heavy storms on Lake Victoria, he drowned, leaving behind a void that has shaped Latifah's life.
In the wake of this heart-wrenching loss, Latifah found herself under the care of her grandmother, Nabachwa Fatuma. With the weight of grief hanging heavy, Latifah and her grandmother embarked on a new chapter together. Despite the challenges that life has presented them, they remain a steadfast team, supporting each other with a bond that is unbreakable.
