Uganda is one of the countries with the highest cost of petrol at the pump on the African continent between UGX 6000-7000 (at an equivalent to 2$ per litre), the government has no measures to subsidizes the prices. There is no Price Control Act which prohibits fuel sellers at any price they bid.

With the ever-increasing population and the amount of waste generated within our country, it is inevitable for us to overlook the need for effective waste management methods. As an organization, the aspect of proper and effective waste management is our soul responsibility that we shouldn't overlook. Improper waste disposal is a leading contributor to environmental pollution. The environment has suffered evils like soil and underground water pollution, which has threatened both biodiversity and human life.

With a lot of waste lying everywhere in our communities, where do you think we are heading to? Well, our homes need a proper waste management system. Proper waste management practices in our homes and society today brings a lot of benefits. These are the benefits that proper waste management can bring to our homes and the environment we live in.

At the completion of the training, certificates are awarded to the trainees. Five programs are covered in depth: Microsoft Windows, MS Words, MS Access, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, Internet. A total of 62 participants enrolled for the training program, however only 22 participants managed to complete the whole package to receive their certification.
